Do you have a lot of friends? So you cannot remember all their birthdays and anniversaries. From this reason is here Eventsbook - your organizer of important events such as birthdays, anniversaries, name days and holidays.

    Eventsbook is successor of Events app, which has great success and thousands of users.

    Eventsbook was designed with the most modern iPhone OS technologies like Core Animation, Core Data framework and fully supports iPhone’s and iPod’s graphics chip.

    Eventsbook has really simple and nice interface so using it is fun. Most of transitions use graphics chip to create great animations. Because all animations and views are rendered by graphics, processor can be used for computing. So designed app is really fast and responsive. Main screen contains only 5 buttons, so the rest of screen can be used for your events.

    To see someone’s detail, just tap on row and small window will pop up. It offers main overview of contact or event and the most used commands like text, phone or send E-mail. If contacts was imported from Facebook, you can write directly on his wall!

The core of app

   App was developed from the start to use SQL lite database. SQL lite database offers fast access to your data and much more commands. Thanks Core Data implementation, you can search almost everything in Eventsbook

Adding new item & editing

    You aren’t limited to see only contacts from your device. You can add your own. Just touch the “plus” button and enter all necessary information like name and date. Really important is “Show year” option. It is really useful, when you don’t remember year of event. Switching it off will hide year in date and turn off counting of age.

    Editing of event is simple as adding new. Just touch the event and touch the small “i” button. Your window will flip and you can edit item. 

Editing of contacts imported from device

   Unlike other applications, Eventsbook can edit your device contacts too without changes in your iPhone. So you can have different photo of your friend in device and in app.

Fully customizable

    Because every user has different needs, Eventsbook is fully customizable. You can set what information you want to see on the main screen. You can set how many days before you want to be notified by icon badge, set display order of names, missed events and so more...

    Eventsbook can show you statistics of your events too.

Calendars

    Eventsbook is really unique in calendars. Go into Calendars section in app preferences and you will be connected with online database of calendars for Eventsbook. So whenever you will download some calendars containing events, you will have the newest version. If some calendar was updated, you will see yellow “Update” button.

    When calendar was downloaded, it is added into your Calendars section. However, you are not limited to only these calendars, you can add your own calendar events too.

Add-ons

    Add-ons in Eventsbook are features, which connect you with world. At this time, there are two add-ons - Push notifications and Facebook sync.

Push notification service

If you will enable push notifications, you will be notified before event. You can set an hour and how many days before event you want to be notified.

Facebook sync

Import your friends from Facebook. Just log in, set what you want to sync and start syncing. Syncing is not automatic. After that, you can write a message to someone’s wall.
