EVENTS

Clear interface

    When you launch Events , first you will see birthdays of your contacts. They are sorted by unique way. Unlike other apps, which sort contacts by left days or by months, Events combines this two ways into one! So you will not need to switch between these sorting.

Loading and sorting

  Each launch app updates its contacts database for changes. Meanwhile you are browsing through your contacts, Events is loading, sorting and updating your contacts. And this all on the background! So you don’t notice anything. This is great, when you have many contacts with birthdays.

Add your own contacts

    Sometimes you don’t want to sync your address book with contacts in Events. For these times is Events right for you. It has its own database, which is not synced with your address book.

    Events also supports editing  your address book contacts. You can also view all information about contact  from address book.

  And if you don’t want longer to show contact, just swipe over the contact.

Events

    Into events section you can add your personal events such as anniversaries, name days, wedding, parties and so on. Events organizes them like birthdays, but it also support their filtering. So why don’t show only name days? In Events just tap on the category label on the right side and you will see filtered events.

    Events application searches for anniversaries from you address book, but you can add your own events and attach also picture to this event.

Holidays

    Events combines two apps into one! You get birthdays organizer, but holidays organizer too. When you select holidays button, you will see today date on the top. You can browse through holidays until end of 2011.

    Events provides holidays calendar for 31 countries around the world! And all in local language* Holidays are downloaded from online database and can be updated on the background if some changes occur.

Customizable notifications

    If you want to show, how many friends have birthdays in next days, you can set up it in settings. You can choose how many days before you want to be noticed. Then you will see small badge on Events icon.

    If you want to be notified some days before event, you can enable notifications service. Set hour of notification and how many days before you want to be notified and let app works. It so simple...

Facebook sync

    Since early time, Events can download your friend to app and shows them as other contacts. App has unique duplicate filter, which detects duplicate contacts. You don’t have to sync only friends, but your events too!

    With latest upgrade, app uses Facebook Graph API and sync is not more than 6x faster then other apps!

    App supports English, German, French, Czech, Italian, Spanish. Other features are: showing contact information, repeating events choosing multiple country holidays and many customizable options.
