Clear interface

When you launch Events , first you will see birthdays of your contacts. They are sorted by unique way. Unlike other apps, which sort contacts by left days or by months, Events combines this two ways into one! So you will not need to switch between these sorting.

For the first launch, app searches your contacts and stores it in its own database. Meanwhile you are browsing through your contacts, Events is loading, sorting and updating your contacts. And this all on the background! So you don’t notice anything. This is great, when you have many contacts with birthdays.

Add your own person

    Sometimes you don’t want to sync your address book with contacts in Events. For these times is Events right for you. It has its own database, which is not synced with your address book.

    Events also supports editing  your address book contacts. You can also view all information about contact  from address book.

    And if you don’t want longer to show contact, just swipe over the contact.

Events

   Into events section you can add your personal events such as anniversaries, name days, wedding, parties and so on. Events organizes them like birthdays, but it also support their filtering. So why don’t show only name days? In Events just tap on the category label on the right side and you will see filtered events.

    Events application searches for anniversaries from you address book, but you can add your own events and attach also picture to this event.

    Events combines two applications into one. It is birthdays organizer, but also holidays organizer. When you select holidays button, you will see today date on the top. You can browse through holidays until end of 2010.

    App supports English, German, French, Czech, Italian, Spanish and partially Hebrew and we are working on other translation. 2.0 update brings you two new great features. The first one is Facebook connection so you never miss birthdays of you Facebook friends. If you have your friend in your Address book and in Facebook too, you can delete individually friend which was newly imported.

Because you can have many events and contact which was added into app, it would be bad to loose them after some incident. For this reasons is here backup feature. You can download your databases through your web browser and restore them later.

    If you want to show, how many friends have birthdays in next days, you can set up it in settings. You can choose how many days before you want to be noticed. Then you will see small badge on Events icon.

    Another great feature is, that you can display friends, which already birthdays have, but you have missed that. You can also customize it.

    You can customize your birthdays, your events and now also your holidays. You don’t celebrate some christian holiday? So just swipe over holiday and delete it. And after that you can add your own holiday.
