Audio Notes

1. My recordings are quiet. Why?

iPhone sets automatically recording level, so application cannot control input level. When you need louder recording use headset microphone, speak closer to mic and check if your playback volume is set to max.

2. Is it possible to reorder my notes or change icon number?

Yes, there is this possibility. Just jump into editing mode and hold the right side of the row and drag it where you want.

3. When I export my note, application show for a long time only connecting and after some while show error. Why?

This is caused because you perhaps set up false IP address. You have to check it. If you click send an error occurred immediately, it’s probably you don`t run FTP software on Windows or you don’t have enabled FTP sharing on your Mac. Other possibility is wrong user name or password.

Expenses

There can be three types of errors:

1. An alert "error occurred..." is shown immediately after you have clicked send. This error is caused by incorrect connection, false user name, password or bad FTP settings on your Mac.

2. An alert "error occurred..." is shown after some time, not immediately. It is showing "connecting" for a long time  This is caused because iPhone cannot find device on such IP address.

3. An alert "file cannot be send" is shown. This is caused by mistakes in text fields, such as special characters e.g. {}%_ä,ó... or even space.

Make also sure, that your iPhone is in the same network as well as your Mac, check your FTP settings and for Mac users check if you are using short user name.

5. Can Audio Notes record phone calls?

Unfortunately not, because app can’t use microphone when you are calling.

6. Which audio format is used?

App offers two file types - MPEG-4 AAC and Apple lossless (.caf). The better audio format is AAC format, but because of hardware limitations, it is not available for original iPhone and iPhone 3G.

4. I cannot export my recording, some error occurred

1. How can I show percentage view of my categories?

Just click on the value of expenses and you will see how many percent makes this category.

Rotate iPhone into list of previous expenses and swipe over your expense. Then you will see delete button.

1. How get into overview mode without relaunching application?

You can get into overview mode by entering number 0 into app calculator. Then app switch into overview mode.

1. After syncing with my Facebook account, I have some duplicates in app. Is there an option to delete them?

To delete some item, just touch the row and drag your finger to the right side. After this gesture, you will see “Delete” button.

7. How to stop recording without saving?

Touch the digits in the bottom control panel and drag your finger outside the box. The recording will stop and no note will be deleted.

There is central panel on the top for changing event mode. However, it is functional only for left page. To change right page, you have to touch right label showing current mode and the switch as usually.
